I just found out a few days back that my dad was cheating on my mom... It's been 20 years of their marriage and after everything he did this... He went to hotels and everything... I read the chats and couldn't believe my dad would do this, although I come from India and they had an arranged marriage and so there wasn't much love between them but still, they shared a bond... And I can't believe my dad did this... I don't know what to do I feel like I can't trust anyone anymore... And this is causing big issues between me and my boyfriend because I can't trust him because of the incident too...

@AyushiMehta God I am so sorry, I just saw this! Well I can say this, no, he didn't stop cheating, but their marriage ended, so in a way it did get better because I stopped talking to him. Not because of the cheating per se, but because he was a rather toxic human. I have accepted that is who he is and while I mourn not having a father, the years make it a lot easier to bear.
