I'm seeing my therapist today to talk about the whole losing

I'm seeing my therapist today to talk about the whole losing my job thing and the events of the past few days. She has me on an antidepressant already but I might ask if we can try something for my anxiety too.
Is it weird that I'm embarrassed to tell her what happened? It feels like I let her down by losing so much of my progress.

I guess total communication is the best path is you trust her. See what she thinks about it.?

Therapists are there to help guide you, not judge you, but I do understand being embarrassed. We tend to feel like when things go badly it is a reflection on us, when really it is just something occurs. It isn't a moral failure, it is just a bad life moment.

I am really sorry about your job, was it something you enjoyed, or is this maybe a blessing in disguise. I have had jobs where I have loved every moment and others where I felt nauseous driving to them. I am sure your therapist won't be disappointed in you, but rather will help you process this loss.
